I would love to give your chocolates an online rating of 5-stars (because the are 5-stars), but your survey is related to an order JoJo's sent after I found a foreign object in a recent bag of Dark Chocolate Pistachio Almond Cranberry Bites (BTW, I did send the foreign object in a ziploc bag, along with a letter on August 31, 2026). If I had to guess, it might have been part of a twig or something related to the almonds and/or pistachios. The order JoJo’s sent in response to that letter never arrived because FedEX destroyed it in-transit. Eventually I found that the package was never coming, and that JoJo’s needed to call FedEX and make a claim for the destroyed package.
I related all this information to [****] but don’t know if they ever made a claim on the package with tracking #542854594444. If I had to guess, they didn’t since they lost my letter and the foreign object that was included in my bag of Dark Chocolate Pistachio Almond Cranberry Bites. Actually, I believe they claimed that they never received that information. If that’s the case, then why send me a package (which was destroyed in transit).
One of the surprising things was FedEX changed JoJo’s for a box that measured 16” x 9” x 7” with a package weight of 6 lb., 9 oz. — personally, I think FedEx took you guys to the cleaners since a pack of your chocolates weighs just 14.4 oz.
If you’re interested in seeing all the correspondence - I can send everything, since foreign objects in food packages could be grounds for a recall. I also made it clear to [****] I wasn’t looking for anything other than an answer to what foreign object nearly broke a tooth. No answer was ever received. Team@jojochocolate really dropped the ball on this one.
Thanks,
Brent
